hoi an is a little town that you should add to itinerary if you’re heading to vietnam! i did a day trip to hoi an but i recommend you do a 2d1n stay. it’s better to spend more time in hoi an instead of danang.

🚗 getting to hoi an:
• book a grab from danang/danang airport.
• price: S$20 to S$30

Hoi An Ancient Town - UNESCO🌏World Heritage site:
take a walk or cycle around during the day and night! i arrived in the late afternoon and went straight to the ancient town. you would have to purchase a ticket which allows you to explore 5 heritage buildings such as museums, old houses, temples and pagodas.  there’s a bunch of stores in the ancient town, definitely no one will get bored in this little town. 
• price: $7.50/person

Boat ride @Hoai river🌉:
i did this after the sunset but i recommend riding the boat while the sun is setting, night is where all the lights are led up which is really pretty. you could release lanterns into the river! the operators will have lighters for your lantern so don’t worry if you don’t have one! last but not least, don’t forget to make a wish😊
